The Role

To support the Founders and Board of Directors with responsibility for operations and administration of the business. Primary responsibility for co-ordination of all aspects of the business to ensure effective operations in a high growth environment. Also responsible for business planning and co-ordinating development of strategies, policies and plans for the future growth of the business.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of all activities within the company.

  • Ensure agreed strategies are implemented.

  • Safeguard shareholders investments both of assets and income streams. Maximise the potential opportunities for the company.

  • Responsible for development of the annual business plan in collaboration with other directors and management.

  • Liaise with the Board to approve significant transactions and monitor progress.

  • Provide day to day support to the managers and staff of the business.

Strategic Management

Co-ordinating all aspects of the company’s future strategies including ensuring plans are developed; approved; implemented and monitored in the following areas:

  • Joint Ventures

  • Planning resources, processes, capacity

  • New products & services

  • Positioning of the business in the marketplace

  • Development of channels to market

  • Management of the current client base

  • Culture of the organisation

Business Operations

Co-ordinating all aspects of operations including  ensuring strategies are developed; approved; implemented and monitored in the following areas:

  • Marketing

  • Sales

  • Operations

  • Content development & monetisation

  • Delivery of services

  • Training of staff

Business Support

Co-ordinating all aspects of support including ensuring strategies are developed; approved; implemented and monitored in the following areas:

  • IT

  • Administration

  • Accounting & Finance

  • Premises Management

  • HR

  • Legal

  • Company Secretarial


Qualifications & Training

Educated to degree level


Relevant experience with financial responsibility for running an organisation or department

Qualities and Attitude

Well organised and with a problem solving approach able to build relationships at all levels. Completer/Finisher

Product Knowledge

Excel, Word intermediate competence
