We provide a full boutique, brand management service working with clients on brand extension, licensing, franchising and wider commercial strategic partnerships. Our clients come to us to explore opportunities outside of their core competencies and to develop strategies to extend their brand into new categories and territories.
The Role
You will be working across all aspects of MDR’s business, to help support the building and executing brand extension strategies for MDR clients. This will include co-ordinating between brand owners, licensees, global offices, and key stakeholders. Day-to-day you will be a key part of the global brand management team.
Job Description (Subject to any mutual amends):
- Day-to-day account support for
- Senior Brand Manager and Head of Brand Management
- MDR Clients
- Licensees
- Ownership of the product development process including managing accurate and timely product approvals from concept through to execution and launch
- Key point of contact for select local clients
- Build presentations and case studies for external pitches and internal documents
- Coordinate research to help identify licensing opportunities by brand
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and business opportunities
- Manage status reports and product plans for brands
- Execute internal administrative tasks including meeting co-ordination, agendas and call notes
- Regulate flow of information with Associate Partners and MDR offices globally
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience
- Candidate must feel comfortable working as part of a small team in a start-up environmentwith a global perspective
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Creative eye for detail and consistency
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise given the fast-paced nature of the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including PPT/ Excel
- Excellent follow-up, self-starter, problem solver, eager to offer ideas/ solutions, knows howto think independently
