A. 1998-We were the worlds first online licensing directory at www.licensingpages.com
Q. Is there a larger database for the licensing industry that is available to access and use?
A. No. The Licensingpages Directory has more contacts than any of our competitors. In fact we have over 5,440 companies listed in our Directory with 2,270 licensors and licensing agents and 2,426 licensees and 744 support companies.

Q. How do you get the data?
A. We have worked exclusively in the licensing industry for nearly 20 years and know hundreds of licensing people in many countries! Companies ask to be listed in our directory and we have a database assistant who attends many of the industry events and acquires exhibitor and attendee lists for most of the licensing shows around the world.
Q. Can we meet someone from your company?
A. Yes. Many of our clients also ask us for advice. We have offices in London (see ‘Contact Us’ below) and we attend or exhibit Key Licensing shows like those in Las vegas, Hong Kong and London
Q. How accurate is the data?
A. Every few months we email all the contacts and ask them to check the data. So it is very accurate and far more relevant and accurate than any printed directory.
Q. Do you list every brand?
A. No. We only list brands that are availble to be licensed (not all brands are involved in licensing or want to be seen to be in licensing)
Q. Do you have every Licensee?
A. No it is an impossible task to get every licensee, as companies come into the industry every day. However we do have most of the key licensees in most territories and more than our competitors.
Q. Can I check to see if a company or brand or country is listed before I buy membership?
A. Yes quick-check the database using the form at www.licensingpages.com/directory.
Q. What if we cannot find a company or brand?
A. Please contact us and we will do our best to find the information for you for free.
Q. I am confused about ‘Membership’ and getting the Directory
A. Standard Membership gives you 1 Year’s access to the Licensingpages Directory from the day you join.
Q. Do we get email addresses
A. Yes. all our listings have a primary contact email address.
Q. If you have the best information, why does the Licensingpages Directory cost less than your competitors?
A. We have a low cost base and can afford to pass that saving onto our clients.
Q. Do you do a printed version, I have a 2007/2008 copy?
A. We used to do a printed version. But with concerns for a greener environment and acknowledging the way people search nowadays, online was the obvious solution.
Q. After we Buy membership can we change our mind?
A. Yes, but only for the first 24 hours. The reason is that in theory someone could join and attempt to copy all the information and then resign their membership. We have put in covert measures to prevent this and we actively pursue those individuals and companies who abuse our data.
Q. Can you provide us with the whole database in one go?
A. No. Licensingpages is registered in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, Registration no: Z7578323 and we actively discourage spamming.
Q. Can we send a message or email shot to your database.
A. Yes. If it is relevant we can send a targeted message to the whole database or we can segment by territory or discipline.
